What to do in West Sussex with your kids

Having struggled to find a good list of things to do in West Sussex and Surrey for kids I thought I would start my own list and build on it over the next year.

I have highlighted which ones I have been too and really this will become a list of places I can use to plan day trips.

Thinking of things to do with kids can be difficult so hopefully you will find this useful.

I really want to fill this up with as many exciting activities as possible so please do email me: time2gossip@gmail.com

This Family run park offers a full day of activities with indoor soft play, farm animals, rides, theatre a mini disco and even a bar!

6. Riverside Nature Reserve | 30 hectares of beautiful wildlife in Guildford walking along the River Wey with meadow, wetland, open water and woodland. .

7. Petwork Park | Nestled in the South Downs you have Petworth Park, part of Petworth House which belongs to National Trust. With lots of hills to climb and deer's rambling around, you could spend all day rambling around the 700 acres of land and have a glorious picnic..

Location: Petworth

Cost: Free - Parking

8. Airhop Guildford - The 'Mini Hoppers' sessions is so much fun, after we dodged all the play cars on display, W was jumping about with plenty of space, a visit from Paw Patrol and bubbles you couldn't ask for any more. It suggests you get there 30 mins before i would suggest 5/10 mins.

Location: Guildford

Cost: £7.50 - you don't need to pay for adults (score)

9. Trundle Hill | Poppy Fields which are a spectacular sight  and beautiful family photo spot but oh god the journey to get down to the car park was a nightmare so I would not go to the main car park and instead go for a nice walk from the other side of the hill.

Location: Goodwood

When to visit: May / June

Cost: Free

10: Frensham Great Pond and Common | A beach and common all rolled into one , on hot days the car  park is filled up by 10am so be quick

Location: between Farnham and Hindhead

Cost: Free (car park)

11. Devils Jumps | A series of Three Small Hills - I have not been but pictures look beaut.

12: Dinosaur Island in Southwater Country Park | The park is beautiful in its own right, with a cafe offering picnic boxes for little ones and Dinosaur Island is the icing on the cake with a large play park for kids of all ages.

Location: Horsham

Cost: Free

14. Jungle mania golf with Jungle Safari | This caught my eye as your child can ride a land rover around a 'Safari' unfortunately for W you have to be at least 3 years old.

Location: Farnham

Cost: From £7.50
