London is becoming very LA with
the rise of blow dry bars, an affordable outlet to achieve perfect hair for
an event, night out or just to make you feel pretty darn beautiful! Most London blow
dry bars offer them all within 30 mins for around £30.
For me, I don’t usually blow dry
my hair at home, I let it naturally dry achieving a slight natural wave, so going
to a salon is a real treat. So with the
launch of Anesis Salon blow dry bar, 'Anesis Blow' I just had to try it out.
Anesis Salon is situated in the heart of Clapham Common, tucked away just off
the park. The salon itself from the outside looks tiny but inside it’s situated
over three floors and offers over 100 services through a spa, clinic and salon.
The salon is based on the ground
floor and after entering I was made to feel very welcome with a glass of
bubbles. After being introduced to my stylist Damien, (who designed the Blow
Dry concept for Anesis Blow) I got handed a booklet with 8 on trend looks all of
which can be created in under 30 minutes at £30 each – bargain.
There really is an on-trend look
for all occasions, the 8 looks consist off a 60s look with lots of volume with
a 'Touch of 60s' and ‘Big and Sexy’,
a poker straight look 'Sleek Chic'
and curly with 'Wave Me Up' and 'Curl Me Classy, Ponytails are also on point
with ‘Power Pony and Low Pony 'and to finish it all off a classic plait ‘Go Plait’.
I opted for the ‘Wave Me Up’
style for a classic look with curls just at the ends of my hair for a really
celebrity inspired feel. After getting a head massage and washing my locks in a
massage chair I was fully relaxed ready to sip my bubbles while my stylist made
me look fabulous.
What do you think of my creation?
I will be definitely be back very soon…
