The new A/W 15
Jimmy Choo collection
If you are an avid reader of Time2Gossip
you will know that I do own a few pairs of Jimmy Choos and they are worth every penny. It's one of the very few luxuries I allow myself, but they are by far the
comfiest heels I have ever owned.
So as you can imagine getting a sneak preview of the Autumn Winter 2015 Collection was fantastic and great to understand the inspiration behind the range. On the downside by the time I left, I had spent a few £100 in my head - Choo dreaming.
Don't you just love them!!!
The Concept
The latest collection explores the elegance
of ballet, tangled with bondage which is an odd concept but it really works with the Jimmy Choo brand. Think ribbons, leather, organza bows and
a focus on the ankle.
There is a real focus on detail as always with Jimmy Choo, the delicate nature of velvet alongside rich leather matches the subtle pinks contrasted with richer hues of teal, red, cinnamon and
black. Along with these colours and fabrics, Jimmy Choo introduces a new
rounded toe, which will feature on some of the classic stiletto designs to new
Ballet inspired flats.
My favourite by far is the shoe bootie in black leather which had a delicate velvet trim and a tantalizing leather ribbon tied into a bow which
sits on the back of the ankle – oh how I wish I owned these.
